The Asian Finance Association (AsianFA) welcomes submissions of finance research papers for its 2024 Annual Conference. The conference is scheduled to be held in Macau from June 24th to June 26th, 2024. The conference is organized by the Asian Finance Association and co-organized by the University of Macau. The conference provides an open platform for finance scholars worldwide to present their recent research and exchange ideas on new developments in finance research. The majority of the sessions will include papers selected through open competition. The papers will be reviewed by a committee of established researchers. A doctoral consortium will be held as part of the 2024 AsianFA Annual Conference.

TOPICS:
The theme of the conference is on frontiers of modern finance research. Papers in all areas of finance are welcome, including asset pricing, behavioral finance, corporate finance, emerging capital markets, financial institutions, fintech, international finance, market microstructure, etc. Accepted papers are eligible for various categories of best paper awards.
DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM:
Doctoral students are welcome to present their dissertations at the consortium which will be led by leading scholars. Travel grants will be awarded to selected doctoral presenters at the consortium.
BESTPAPER AWARDS:
The conference will offer multiple categories of best paper awards. The awards in each category will be decided by an Award Committee. These awards include:
1. Three or more best paper awards sponsored by the Asian Finance Association (USD 1,000 each).
2. One best paper award sponsored by the Pacific Basin Finance Journal (USD 1,000).
3. One best paper award sponsored by the International Review of Finance (USD 1,000).
4. One best doctoral paper award for the doctoral consortium (USD 1,000).
